America’s Got Talent: The Champions star Marcelito Pomoy recently announced that he’s going on tour to various cities in the United States. The Filipino singer previously won Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011, wowing with his vocal range.

Marcelito Pomoy Announces United States Tour

Marcelito recently took to Instagram to share that he’ll be performing in a number of U.S. cities beginning at the end of August. He said the upcoming concerts were happening “due to insistent public demand.” Marcelito shared a poster crediting musical director Joel Sebag.

The tour will kick off August 26 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Other cities on the schedule include Philadelphia, Denver, Houston, and more. The last date listed is November 5, when Marcelito will perform in San Diego, California. The poster lists a phone number to call for tickets.

Marcelito recently performed a sold-out show in Montreal, Canada. He shared in his tour announcement that he was back home in the Philippines for the time being and was getting ready for the upcoming tour. He asked fans to join him in concert to “have a lot of fun while listening to good music.”

Marcelito Finished AGT: The Champions in Fourth Place

In the second season of AGT: The Champions, Marcelito auditioned with a performance of “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, singing both the tenor and the soprano parts. The judges were impressed, and the Superfans voted him through.

Marcelito made it to the Finals, where he performed “Beauty and the Beast.” He ended up finishing the competition in fourth place. Since appearing on the show, Marcelito has done charity work and appeared as a co-host on the show Eat’s Singing Time.

Fans may have been disappointed that Marcelito didn’t end up winning Champions, but many of them will have the chance to watch him perform in person very soon.
