Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer alum Donny Osmond took to social media earlier this week to announce that he was canceling two shows in his residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas due to illness. Fans expressed their concern for the singer’s health.

Donny Osmond Cancels Las Vegas Shows Due to Illness

“I am heartbroken to let you know that I will be canceling tonight and tomorrow’s shows at Harrah’s Las Vegas due to illness,” Osmond wrote in an Instagram message on Tuesday. “The health and safety of everyone on stage and attending the show is the number one priority.”

The singer apologized for any inconvenience this might cause fans, adding that tickets purchased through Ticketmaster would be automatically refunded. Otherwise, he advised fans to contact their point of purchase about the refund policy.

Fans took to the post’s comments to wish Osmond well, with one person writing, “For you to cancel, you must be quite ill.” Another commented, “Knowing how hard working you are it must be serious otherwise you’d be out there on stage.”

Osmond did not reveal the nature of his illness. He’s also due to perform at Harrah’s on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. As of this writing, the singer has not announced that any of these performances are canceled.

Osmond Recently Extended His Residency

Last month, Osmond announced that he was extending his Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s, with new dates lined up into May of next year. He told fans that he wants to “keep the party going.” The singer launched the solo residency in 2021.

Osmond also recently wrapped up a summer tour which took him to various cities around the United States and Canada, including Detroit, Atlantic City, Reno, and Niagara Falls.

The singer has several more residency shows lined up throughout October and November. He’ll kick off his 2024 shows on January 23, with more dates in February, March, and April. The final date on the current schedule is May 11.
