Katy Perry revealed some behind the scenes moments of her “Harley’s In Hawaii” music video. She shared a short video on the back of husband Orlando Bloom’s motorcycle as the two traveled through Hawaii. This was the moment that inspired the narrative behind her 2019 hit, and we are swooning.
In a series of memories from Kauai, Hawaii, the American Idol judge shared pics of the couple both sporting Ray Ban sunglasses as the tropical breeze flows over them.
Other photos show the set of the “Harley’s In Hawaii” music video. Here, Perry shows off long blonde locks, floral dresses, and flowers in her hair. The artist is also sure to showcase the beautiful ocean on location as well as crew members and friends who’ve made the video possible.

“Harleys In Hawaii” Inspired TikTok Challenge
Perry asked her fans if she should participate in TikTok’s #youandiiiiii challenge. The trending sound features a slowed version of the singer’s high note in “Harley’s In Hawaii.” Many content creators have put their own spin on the challenge. One of the most popular versions of the trend showcases creators in front of a trippy and colorful background.
The success of “Harleys In Hawaii” has increased massively in popularity since it’s debut on Perry’s Smile album. The music video alone has amassed over 41 million views on YouTube. It also currently stands at number one on her most popular hits on Spotify and has over 115 million streams.
The track also inspired American Idol contestants to perform their own renditions for the artist herself. This past season, singer Heather Russell performed a soulful rendition of “Harleys in Hawaii” to earn her ticket into Hollywood. Receiving three yeses from the judges, Perry’s smash hit helped to aid in the career of a budding performer.
Earlier this week, Perry announced her Smile album had achieved a total of one billion streams on Spotify. She posted a photo with giant heart shaped balloons to commemorate her success.
